The Catholic Club provides childcare all day when school is not in session. This provides you with the peace of mind to know that your child has a place to go, even when schools close at the last minute for an emergency. Vacation days include winter break, spring break, President’s Day, and teachers’ in-service days. With the exception of emergency and weather related closings, you must pre-register at least one week in advance, and pay the fee for your child for all vacation days to hold his/her spot, and to allow us planning time to schedule sufficient staff to support ratio requirements. For weather related school closings, you must call first thing in the morning to register your child for the day. Vacation day activities may include: center time, outside play, stories, group games, gym games, crafts, science experiments, swimming, and more.

Safety

We have safety policies that are strictly enforced. You will authorize in writing who is allowed to pick up your child and we will never release your child to anyone that you have not authorized in writing. Upon enrollment, you will receive a security code to sign your child in and out of the program. Your child’s teachers are trained in CPR and First Aid in addition to a wide variety of child development trainings.

½ Day Care

Occasionally schools offer only morning sessions and close in the afternoon. If your child’s school will only be in attendance in the morning, you must notify us in advance if you need afternoon care. In this instance, you will need to send a lunch with your child if he/she does not eat lunch at school that day.
