We currently have openings in our EHS classrooms!    Lots of extras including diapers, formula, meals and parent support!  Call us now to register or for more information!  Your child will be assigned personal areas such as his/her own crib or cot, and a drawer or cubbie to store personal items. For infants 12 months and younger, we follow the feeding schedule recommended by you, and provide formula, diapers and pull-ups while your child is in our care! We provide breakfast, a hot catered lunch and afternoon snack for those infants 12 months and older. Teachers follow Creative Curriculum and provide a wide range of activities that includes: “tummy time” to help strengthen the infants muscles, songs, finger play/ music activities, art activities, sensory play, outdoor play that includes buggy rides when weather permits, and a wide range of age appropriate books and toys. Strict cleanliness policies include: shoe coverings must be used to keep outside dirt and germs out of the infant areas, toys that are used by an infant and dropped are put into a cleaning bin and replaced with a clean toy. We use the “Ages and Stages” system of assessments for the infant age group. These assessments will give you information about how your child is developing compared to a typical child that age. This program provides lots of extra family support via our partnership with Early Head Start. We realize that all children develop and grow at different rates so the individuality of your child is always accounted for.

Teacher / Staff Qualifications

Every teacher has a specific college degree or certificate and credentials depending upon the age group that he or she is working with. Our teachers have a degree in Education, Early Childhood Education or related field, a Child Development Certificate (CDA) or are in a training program. All teachers are required to meet requirements for continuing education and training in child development per NAEYC, Step Up to Quality, and Early Head Start standards.

Curriculum & Assessments

Teachers follow the Creative Curriculum and provide a balance of activities which are aligned with Ohio's Early Learning and Development Standards. We use the “Ages and Stages” system of assessments for infant through age 5 years.  These assessments will give you information about how your child is developing compared to a typical child that age. We realize that all children develop and grow at different rates so the individuality of your child is always accounted for. As your child grows, we offer a full range of childcare services beginning with infant care and following your child through toddler years, preschool years and school age years. Each transition is done slowly and with care for your child’s comfort and adjustment to the next classroom. Your input will be included in the transition plan for your child.

Safety

We have safety policies that are strictly enforced. You will authorize in writing who is permitted to pick up your child and we will never release your child to anyone that you have not authorized in writing. Upon enrollment, you will receive a security code to sign your child in and out of the program. Your child’s teachers are trained in CPR and First Aid in addition to a wide variety of child development training.

" My children have grown in so many ways since they have attended the Catholic Club. My son's speech and manners have sprouted and the children are learning to socialize with other children.  With them attending this program my work schedule has become a breeze and my children love the staff. They talk about them even at home.  We love the Catholic Club and the staff".
